- fusibile interfacing of suitable weight for your fabric (equal amounts of yardage to fabric is required as it is suggested to block fuse the entire main and/or lining)
- 40cm invisible zip (heavy duty recommended)

- optional: crinoline/horsehair braid for the hem
- optional: 2m chanelling*
- optional: 2m of 6mm wide rigilene (a plastic sew-able boning)*

Pictured, I have sewn one in a blue jacquard fabric, lined with a silk/cotton blend - the rigilene was sewn into the seams of the main fabric and I adorned the front with a bow (tutorial here). The hem was finished with a 5cm wide band of crinoline, handstitched up in place.
The printed multi-coloured Italian themed fabric is a canvas, lined with a bemberg. There is no rigilene in the seams and so the front bust can collapse/wrinkle. It is fully interfused and also finished with a crinoline hem (this one 3cm wide).

Easy pattern to follow, I had to grade between two sizes and it was easy with Gracie’s instructions. After a quick toil I didn’t need to change a thing for the actual dress!
